With over 50 years of experience, Mr Ouadah Tayeb created PTD, a company under Algerian law, in 1997 with an activity focused solely on blowing. Between 1999 and 2002 its activity recorded a leap by introducing for the first time in Algeria injection systems for PET preforms.
The company continued its development by acquiring new preform and cap production systems, an advance that allowed the company to have a wider range of products.
Given the development of the preform market, PTD opted for a quality approach with the ISO 9001 Certificate in September 2011 and the integration of the FSSC 22000 protocol in 2022.
PTD has started a vast investment program focused on qualitative and quantitative results ensured by a state-of-the-art production line, a first in Africa: injection system, visual inspection system and a quality control laboratory.
